Oshkosh Youth Wrestling Club

Come join us for our 42nd year of offering wrestling instruction to Oshkosh youth.

 Receive instruction in the wrestling fundamentals from Coach Ryan Bergman. In the past 30+ years, the club coached every year at the Youth State Tournament with 18 place winners, 6 State Champions, and 1 National Champion!

Registration/Practice

 When:  Anytime before or during season.

Where: Online on our website

 Cost:     $55 (plus a refundable deposit for singlet if tournaments are available)

All forms must be submitted with payment before wrestlers will be allowed to practice or receive singlets and t-shirts.

             -Includes entry into our Oshkosh tournament

             -No USA Card required to be a Club member

             -Maximum $150 cost per family

             -If the cost is prohibitive, please contact the Club President about scholarship possibilities.

 Ages:    4K - 8th Grade

Practices are preliminary scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays (subject to change based on enrollment numbers and coach wrestling schedule)

 6:00-6:50 4K-2nd grade

 7:00-8:00 3rd-8th grade

No refunds will be given after the first two (2) weeks of practice. The singlet that your child will be using is a rental. Its ownership is retained by the Oshkosh Youth Wrestling Club. You are responsible for proper care and cleaning. If the singlet is returned the night of the Spring Banquet (or before), your deposit check will be given back to you at that time. If the singlet is not returned at the Spring Banquet (or before), you will forfeit the deposit. Singlet rental for the current year will not be considered until the previous year’s singlet has been returned to the Oshkosh Youth Wrestling Club.

In consideration of my child’s acceptance in the Oshkosh Youth Wrestling Club, I, my executors, and administrators waive and release parents, coaches, sponsors, their agents, representatives, committees, and members from any and all claims or rights to damages or injuries in training or traveling to or from, or competing in meets or any phase of the program.

I, the undersigned parent/guardian of my wrestler(s), agree to the terms and information provided in the club’s liability page, which can be found here.

I, the undersigned parent/guardian of my wrestler(s), acknowledge that protecting my child's health is a shared responsibility among the athlete, parents/guardians, coaches, officials, and medical professionals. I understand that when in doubt regarding a possible concussion, my child should be withheld from participation until properly evaluated. I accept responsibility for reporting concerns and removing my child from participation whenever I observe signs or symptoms of a possible concussion. I have read and understand the concussion information provided here.
